Enver Gjokaj studied acting at both New York University (where he received his MFA) and at the Tisch School of the Arts. He started working professionally in 2006, landing roles on the short-lived NBC comedic drama series "The Book of Daniel", starring Aiden Quinn and Ellen Burstyn, and in the dramatic miniseries "The Path to 9/11". In 2008, he appeared in the football drama "The Express" and the espionage thriller "Eagle Eye". But it was his regular role in Joss Whedon's ill-fated cult science fiction show "Dollhouse" that Gjokaj is probably best known for, playing Victor. He also appeared in Whedon's blockbuster "The Avengers" movie in 2012.
