John Ales was an actor known for his dramatic film roles. Ales's career began by acting in comedies like "Spy Hard" (1996) with Leslie Nielsen and Nicollette Sheridan, the Eddie Murphy hit "The Nutty Professor" (1996) and the Eddie Murphy hit "Nutty Professor II: The Klumps" (2000). He also appeared in "The Zeros" (2001) starring Mackenzie Astin. Ales worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation" (CBS, 2000-2015).
