Bonus Trivia

.

Entertainment Weekly named Patton the "It" comedian of 2002.

.

Tired of the standard comedy club circuit, Oswalt joined with friends Zach Galifianakis, Brian Posehn and Maria Bamford to tour indie rock clubs under the collective name "The Comedians of Comedy."

.

For his guest appearance on "Parks and Recreation" as a frustrated "Star Wars" fan disrupting a town hall meeting, Oswalt delivered a nine-minute improvisation on various totems of geek culture that the show's producers published online in full after editing it for the show's airing.

.

In November 2015, "Mystery Science Theater 3000" creator Joel Hodgson announced that Oswalt would play the mad scientist's henchman role on a rebooted edition of the series.
